I'm trying real hard to figure out that abominably misused apostrophe in the subject header.

Hopefully the actual article elaborates...are we supposed to guess what feuds were about?

Re: Top Feuds Of All Time Says Rolling Stone Magazine's

Left out very nasty one between the Fogerty brothers.
Eagles
Alice Cooper band
Paul Rodgers/Mick Ralphs
Jefferson Starship
Amuch bigger stink between Jagger/Richards with Mick Taylor than they've ever had between themselves.

This is one of those Rolling Stone puff pieces you feel like you've read a hundred times.

Mick Taylor? I just read Keith's autobiography and he really had nothing bad to say about Mick Taylor who was quite a quiet and reserved fellow. He did devote quite a few pages to how much of an asshole Brian Jones was.

I don't ever recall hearing any problems with Pete & Roger in The Who.

Nigel Tufnel and David St. Hubbins should be at least Top 5.

They haven't been able to stomach the sight of each other for two decades now. But it's a mutual understanding: nobody can sing Pete's songs like Roger, and Roger without Pete's songs is functionally useless.

More of a financial riff than personal. When Taylor replaced Jones he was made a full member of the band, all earnings split 6 ways(including Jones estate). Since he was made a full member Taylor has received an equal share of all earnings to this day. Taylor receives just as much money for the albums and tours since he left in '75 as the other members. Even thougfh he retired, Wyman got paid just as much for the tours without him as the members who toured did. All full members of the band split profits equally. This rubs Jagger and Richards the wrong way. That is why they never made Ron Wood a member of the band. They pay him to play on the records and tour for a flat fee like other highed help. Taylor also took them to court for money owed.

Mike Love vs. Brian Wilson not being #1 renders the list invalid.

I'd much rather see a list of feuds between Rolling Stone magazine and bands they trash for no reason.

Re: Top Feuds Of All Time Says Rolling Stone Magazine's

Rolling Stone puts these lists out so people will discuss "Rolling Stone" for 5 minutes, and hopefully forget that the magazine hasn't been relevant since the last time Guns N' Roses was on the cover.

A magazine whose primary circulation consists of people who get the magazine because of a link they followed on the "Hot Deals" forum, is a joke.

Seriously...shouldn't 2Pac vs Biggie be the top feud of all time in music, you know, considering it led to them both being killed? (Allegedly, of course...)

Hey now, let's be fair, most magazines are hurting for subscriptions these days.

That being said, Rolling Stone is a total joke.
