My wife can not get a movie out of her head. She saw it as a little girl and keeps bringing it up every time we watch a movie on TMC. It really left an impression on her. I would love to find this for this Christmas if you can help!

The problem is she is from Colombia, South America. She knows the movie was American made. She thinks she saw it when she was 6 - 8 yrs old, so around 1966 - 68. It was Black and White.

I think it is very possible that the movie was older that '66-'68, and it is very possible that it was an American TV show that was shown in a movie theater in Colombia.

The story has a burglar/jewel thief. He would scale the outside of the buildings (she thinks with suction cups or similar), enter apartments, steal the jewels. When chased by the good guys, he would drive away and into a cave. The mouth of the cave would open up, he would drive in, and the cave mouth would close and the good guys would drive right on by. (This sounds like a batman type cave, so it could be that it was a 'good' guy that was trying to avoid from being caught(?), and she can't remember it all)

At the end, the thief is caught by spraying/encasing him in liquid metal that hardens. At the very end of the movie, his body is in the metal, but you can see his eyes still moving (as if he will come back in another movie, or another TV show in the series).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

One of my favorites. It's a shame Paramount will likely never give this a BD release.
