Wow. First I have heard about this. Sad news, indeed.

I'd like to think of it that he is just permanently frozen in carbonite. RIP.

Wow. Watched about 30 minutes of Empire on Spike last night.

I thought he did a fantastic job on Eyes of Laura Mars.

RIP. I watched Never Say Never Again last night, and Robocop II is a favorite as well.

Wow, not a good day in the movie world. RIP Mr. Kershner.

The Empire Strikes Back was a big part of my childhood.

And Robocop 2 was a big part of mine.

Empire Strikes Back is still my favorite SW film.

Yeah, it was a neat little film although the twist was a little weak.

A very solid director who could could put out at least an average film. RIP.

Actually he is the 3rd in the "rule of three". All within 5 days of each other.

I was 14 when it came out and must have seen it a dozen times at the $1 theater downtown.

Don't forget his small part in The Last Temptation of Christ.. heh, thought he was good in it.
