Is the R1 DVD of "Iron Eagle" in widescreen?

http://www.amazon.com/Iron-Eagle-Lou...8997820&sr=8-1

The listing on amazon just mentions full screen, but this review of the same disc mentions both WS and full screen.

I want my Lou Gossett Jr in anamorphic widescreen damnit!

Could be one of the infamous Columbia, "fullscreen" only reissues.

My copy, UPC: 043396839694, which I think is the same as your link, is a flipper. Widescreen on one side, FS on the other. Bought mine about 6 years ago, though, so YMMV.

I have it and it's a flipper, WS and FS. Sony rereleased FS only with the same UPC number.
