many years ago, i seen just the start of a movie where a tank got sent back in time.
their radio was probably dead, and i remember that one of the crew (presumably amature astronomer or the like) looked at the night sky and commented that such and such was in the wrong place for the time of year.

not much to go on i know, but does it sound familiar to anyone?

G.I. Samurai?

just read on yahoo about the G.I. Samurai movie,
doesn't sound like that one, im sure the guys in the tank were Americans.

Sounds like the Twilight Zone episode "The 7th Is Made Up Of Phantoms". A tank crew during routine exercises discover they've gone back in time just before the battle at The Little Big Horn.
