I'm looking forward to this. This album definitely needed remastering. Hopefully there will be some bonus tracks.

"I’m happy to finally announce the re-issue of the first Nine Inch Nails record “Pretty Hate Machine,” releasing worldwide 11/22. UMe and Bicycle Music Group managed to locate the original mixes, so I went in the studio with Tom Baker and remastered it for a grealy improved sonic experience. In addition, Rob reinterpreted Gary Talpas’ original cover to make for a fresh new package.

It’s been an interesting trip watching the fate of this record float from one set of hands to another (a long and depressing story) but it’s finally wound up in friendly territory, allowing us to polish it up a bit and present it to you now. We had fun revisiting this old friend, hope you enjoy.

Price is right, so I'm in, although it would have been a better release last year for the 20th anniversary.

This is good news. I was hoping for a Deluxe Edition similar to the The Downward Spiral double-disc but I'll take what I can get.

+1 w/"Sin" as my favorite.

I'll have to hear the difference, but it's likely I'll pick this up.

This album sounds pretty dated to me. He made a huge step forward with "Broken", IMO. He's never topped "Broken" to date.

I think he topped Broken with Year Zero, but yeah, Broken is the gold standard for NIN.

Didn't notice before but the awesome B-side "Get Down, Make Love (Queen cover)" will be added to this reissue. It was the B side to "Sin".

Def one of my favorite albums; the inclusion of the B-side might push me to buy this, even though I usually avoid these endless remasters coming out today.

I'm looking forward to this..but would of been nice to do a 5.1 version and maybe add on those Purest Feeling demos.

This one is okay, but the only NIN album I ever really got into was Broken, though it has been at least 12 years since I heard is, so my opinion may have changed.

Sweet. I'll pick this up. It's probably my least-favourite NIN album, but a remastered version is a great reason to revisit it.

i do still listen to sin on occasion though.

The Downward Spiral is still the best one I think. That album still sounds perfect on all fronts even 16 years down the road. Broken is a nice blast of fun though; I'd love to hear a remaster of that one, since it sounds a bit thin these days.

Pretty Hate Machine is VERY dated sounding from a production standpoint, but still holds up fairly well as an album. That's one of the better things about NIN; the songs stand up for themselves and don't rely as much on the production end as people may think.

That would have been nice - I thought he'd said something like that when there was talk of a 15 year anniversary release, but wasn't there something about them not wanting to pay him for working on it or something?

I'm sure Trent wants to forget about "Purest Feeling", but I would have liked a bonus disc of whatever they could come up with.

Agreed, While Purest Feeling is pure cheese, some of the tracks are actually ok and would at least be a cool extra. Twist for example is a pretty cool early version of Ringfinger.

Then again, Trent is down with downloading I think, he probably figures that anyone who knows about it or cares has it or can easily get it. This way he doesn't have to officially embarrass himself.

I'd get it.. but don't really want to double dip on anything.. However if there are unreleased tracks I don't have then I might have to get it.
