Why does it look like a region 0 chinese set? Aren't those identifiable by chinese writing on the dvd case? I didn't see any such markings.

Well, for one I can't seem to find this set on dvd price search and the only copies on Amazon are used/marketplace sellers. Has this one ever been released in the US like this? I really don't know but given my absolutely puny amount of investigation and the price of this set it seemed as if it was a chinese bootleg - which, in my experience, don't always have chinese writing on the cover.

Which really doesnt mean a lot anymore, the chinese have duplicated most multi season sets to perfection (in appearance anyway). See link to alibaba for chinese bootlegs of South Park
