Wow, the TV movies too? Holy shit. Universal must be getting desperate!
Is there a Midnight Run set in the works too?

Wow that is pretty cool, I was hoping they would include "Smokey is the Bandit" the original cut of Smokey part 3 which had Gleason playing both roles.
It tested horrible and many scenes were re shot with Jerry Reed as the Bandit as well as Burt's cameo.

I seem to remember hearing about this release a few weeks ago, and that was the first time I ever heard of the TV movies. The original movie was one of the first DVDs I ever bought, and I probably got rid of when I got a 16x9 TV (the original DVD wasn't enhanced), and I never got around to picking up any of the reissues.
Might put this on the Christmas list, but that's already pretty loaded with that Making of The Empire Strikes Back book coming out.

Bandit was loosely based on the famous Burt Reynolds film Smoky and the Bandit. It starred 80's teen heartthrob Brian Bloom in the title role. Throughout all four made for tv movies that aired Bandit was assisted in his adventures by the governor's son Lynn. Lynn was played by Charmed's Brian Krause.
Other Action Pack releases included Hercules (which did make it to a television series), Vanishing Son (had short-lived success on tv), and two half hour tv shows: Jack of All Trades and Cleopatra 2525. The later was later made into an hour-long series of episodes.
It was actually a Dodge Stealth in Bandit.

Which was the martial arts one on the Action Pack? There were 3 movies, which were pretty good, then a short lived tv series that was pretty bad.

I never knew there were tv movies either. The original was the only good one of the film trilogy though.

Are you thinking of Kung Fu: The Legend Continues? If so, that was on the Prime Time Entertainment Network, a similar concept from Warners that's most notable for producing Babylon 5.
