We're very pleased to report that Shakira will release her brand new album, Sale el Sol/The Sun Comes Out, on October 19th.

The album will feature Shakira's record-breaking global hit "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)", as well as a new single "Loca". Recorded in the Dominican Republic, “Loca” is Shakira’s interpretation of Dominican artist El Cata’s song “Loca Con Su Tiguere". You can hear the Spanish version of the track, above. There will also be an English version, featuring a guest appearance from Dizzee Rascal, the UK's number one rapper.

So anyone get it? It's pretty cool. Not amazing. I do like Loca a lot though. Also the Spanish Waka Waka is solid.

The CD reminds me a lot of her earlier stuff. Which is good.

LOCA, ADDICTED TO YOU, & DEVOCION are my favorite. The album is good, I like it all except ISLANDS & TU BOCA. The English versions of LOCA & RABIOSA are crap.

Someone please find and post the brief interview I saw on MTV news. She was filmed riding a motorcycle without a helmet in spain as part of her new video. Her explanation is the funniest thing I've ever heard. Like bimbo times one million.

Following the culmination of her highly acclaimed, sold-out world tour, Shakira is set to release “Shakira, Live From Paris” on December 6th.

This special live concert was shot at the Palais de Bercy, in Paris, France. It's available in three different formats, DVD + live audio CD, standard DVD and Blu-Ray, and includes a full 22-song performance. Fans will get to experience Shakira like never before with an all-access pass to behind-the-scenes documentary footage.

WHY WAIT sounds great live, just wished it was ANOS LUZ [spanish version]
WHENEVER WHEREVER rock version is cool, love that guitar riff... also wished it was SUERTE [spanish version] instead.

also hoped it woulda had more SALE EL SOL tracks... weird that it took half the concert to hear first song from it.

One thing that sucked was, I WISH THEY WOULD STOP USING SLOW-MO!!!!
