I saw that there was a tribute to actress Claudia Cardinale at the Telluride Film Festival last week.

And that inspired me to finally sit down and watch Once Upon a Time in the West. With all the tight close-ups of Cardinale in the movie, I was struck by how much she looked like... who?

Now it's like a melody that's stuck in my head, and I want to sing it to anyone who will listen so that they might tell me the name of the song.





What contemporary female (who's name can't I think of) looks just like CC in those pictures?

My jaw hit the floor the first time I saw her in Once Upon A Time In The West. Just gorgeous!

She looks better than any of them, even though anachronistic lashes and whatnot helped the equation.

Trust me, I know. I love Bellucci's work, and the fact that she's married to Cassel makes them an awesome powerhouse of acting as well.

I can see it in your 1st comparison. The 2nd one...not so much.

I was working with what I could find on Google Image search and I wanted to stick to Cardinale pics from OUATITW.
The resemblance is about the pouty mouth and shape of the chin, and you really got a lot of that with Leone's straight ahead close-ups in the film, but I thought there was a good nose match in the b/w pics.
But Alicia is who I was thinking of. I realized it today when I saw Paul Rudd in EW.

.....how does Paul Rudd correlate to Alicia Silverstone?

He was in Clueless;

I would say she's like a mix of Kate Mara and Jessica Simpson. But Silverstone does look like her in that first pic.

I never saw her appeal.
