IMDB credits the prolific actor with 194 movie and tv roles. He notorious for playing a tough guy and I'd say it's just about impossible you haven't seen him in something. So, which performance is your favorite. I have to go with "Blood In, Blood Out: Bound by Honor" (1993) followed by "Heat" (1995). I am really looking forward to him finally taking the lead in "Machete".

Desperado's already taken, but I'm impressed how he can steal any scene he's in whenever he's on screen in Heat. For context, this is a film where Robert De Niro is in top form, and whenever Trejo is in a scene, so is De Niro - and still the MexiCAN chokeholds your attention.

Interesting. I love RR's "Grindhouse" style. But it's all bigger budget, pro-style stuff. Vengeance looks like something that was ACTUALLY filmed with a tiny budget and amateurs out to shoot a movie and make it as good as they can. Not the "nod nod, wink wink" stuff.

yeah well...the dialogue ain't hot and it doesn't look like it was shot all that well either. No matter the budget you need to shoot it well, have a damn fine story, or both.
