I thought the latest trailer might be the impetus for one.

Trailer made me laugh when I saw it in theaters. Always good to see a Scifi Comedy or two.

According to Deadline, Sony may sue over this film because they have their own alien flick coming out a few months after called "Battle: Los Angeles."

It's because the Strause brothers were hired to do the effects for Battle: Los Angeles and did not disclose this film to Sony.

Like AVP:R there are good ideas, like that shot with the swarm of people being abducted, but it all lies in the execution.

Saw the teaser and thought it looked interesting, until I went to IMDB and found it was done by the AvP:R guys.

Hopefully you can actually see what's happening. AVPR was probably the darkest film I've seen in 10 years.

I'm a total sucker for alien invasion movies, so part of me is excited to see this.

The other part of me remembers AVP:R.
