Printable membership coupons used on the Criterion sale will work.
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/email/...1512-_-Primary

AAA, Library B&N site will work for the 10% off.

Use these codes now before they start putting their no coupon rule.

15% off code: U4L9U7U (exp. 8/23)
15% off code – X9J3T9C (exp. 8/30)

Speed Racer The Complete Classic Series Collection is $12.49. I believe this is the lowest I've seen it.

One of the best boxsets would have to be The Alec Guinness Collection with some big hits: Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Lavender Hill mob, The Man With the White Suit, The Captain's Paradise and The Ladykillers.

I could be wrong, but BN sure seems to have a very loose definition of "foreign films."

Yea, but not that long ago, we could stack the xx% off coupons on top of the AAA/library link stores.

I'm not geting any coupon codes to work with library store link, maybe I'm missing something. Either way, I think I can get similar/better savings with coupons in store. Going after Crash, Godard set, and maybe Andre Techine or Renoir set.

Yesterday, I picked up On the Road with Charles Kuralt Set 1 for $14.xx after member discount and $5 coupon. I wish Set 2 was included in this sale.

Picked up, in store:
What's New Scooby-Doo(season 1)40%
What's New Scooby-Doo(season 2)30%
What's New Scooby-Doo(season 3)30%
Cannery Row(Nick Nolte/Debra Winger)50%
The Harvey Girls(Judy Garland)50%

Extra 10% with membership and extra 15% coupon.

Considered the Alex Guinness set, Ziegfeld Girl & various Columbo sets but my pockets were mysteriously empty at that point.

Iirc Deepdiscount had a Kino sale last winter, not sure if that's annual or not. During their semi-annual generic sale (25% off everything?) Kinos were $16.99.

This is one of the best box sets I ever purchased, there's not a bad film in the lot and 2 certified classics. Grab one while they're this reasonably priced.

I was going to argue your point a little bit, thinking this set could be had for less than $20 on eBay or Amazon but I was just plain wrong. It has been on sale in the past and for some reason, I thought it was not that hard to find for a cheap price.

Half off $39.99 plus whatever combination of member discount, coupon, etc. that you can stack on top of it is indeed reasonable and actually pretty darned good.

In March, Deep Discount had their 55% off KINO sale...a first. Wonderful sale! Hopefully they do it again one more time during the year.

Tell me about it. Last Criterion sale...the membership card had its privileges for those of us who shopped online. Now we can't use online coupons and are no longer given our 10% off. Sucks!

Are the in-store movies for sale the same as the on-line inventory?
