I wonder if the showing of The Devils indicates that a BD is on the way?

If I lived in NYC, I would go to these movies.

^ hah! I seriousily doubt Warner's has any interest releasing 'The Devils' anytime soon. Interestingly the running time of the print that is being shown states the uncut UK theatrical cut of 111 minutes - wonder if that is indeed true. The AFI a number of years back promised the UK uncut version when it did a Russell retrospect at the AFI Kennedy Center theater - sadly they didn't secure said print at the last minute, but they did however find and present the rarely seen 'X' rated US theatrical version of the film - that was a definate surprise for me, since I had only seen the R-rated cut prior.

As much as I would love to own the uncut 'The Devils' on bluray, 'The Boyfriend' would simply look out of this world in hidef, since it's basically a Busby Berkley musical on crack and quite colorful.
