So long, farewell; the best goodbye scenes
I'm leaving my workplace of many years to go to another position in the company, so I'd like to make a goodbye poster. I plan to do it with screenshots from famous "goodbye" scenes in movies, and I'd hate to leave anything out. Basically it'll be 30-40 screenshots with a small note at the bottom saying "I'm not very good at goodbyes - I'll leave that to the experts".
What I'm looking for are the best goodbye scenes. Some automatically jump to mind - "So long, farewell" from The Sound of Music. The hand forming a thumbs-up in Terminator 2. But the ones I'd come up with may not be so recognizable to others.
What are your favorite goodbyes from the movies? If anything's a spoiler, please label the film and enclose the spoiler in tags. Thanks!
Note - I plan to get as many screenshots I can, so if you have any screenshots already, that would be great!

Terms of Endearment- Debra Winger saying goodbye to her kids in hospital
Not a theatrical movie but,
Gus(Robert Duvall) saying goodbye to Clara and Laurie
One of the best hellos:
Best Years of Our Lives-Homer coming home to Wilma and his parents

The ending for T2. I cried sooooo much when I saw that in theaters. Many fathers in the theater totally didn't see that happening for sure. I still get misty eyed for that scene. Aw..crap. Here I go again....damnit....*tear*

If it wasn't for the lights I kid you not....I'd barely be able to tell that that's HEAT. Besides De Niro's mug in there too.
