THE WILD BUNCH - hands down. I saw this over 20 times in theaters

The Wild Bunch...and if you're not getting technical about it...Once Upon A Time In The West...but it was released in '68 back in Italy, and released as a butchered mess in '69.

If release date in the U.S. is the determining factor to decide if it's a "1969" movie, then I go with:

Paint Your Wagon, but only if the scene in The Simpsons when the family watches it together counts.

In reality...The Wild Bunch with Easy Rider placing a very very close second.

Sleeper pick: John and Mary, which is my favorite romance film of all-time.

I'll go with On Her Majesty's Secret Service because it is my favorite of the Bond movies (big fan of Diana Rigg). But I think I enjoyed Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid just as much.

Honorable Mention:
I remember liking Z at the time although I haven't seen it since.
And True Grit is something of a sentimental favorite because it was filmed where I now live.
