I don't have an example, because I don't know. I got to thinking about how you watch an old movie and think of how many of those actors have passed away...but what about a recent movie? You see a fairly current movie where one, maybe two people are now deceased, but what's the most recent movie you can think of with the most now-deceased actors?

Soul Men had Bernie Mac and Issac Hayes in it. But that's only two, I dunno ...

The only one that springs to mind is Grumpy Old Men: Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, Ossie Davis, and Burgess Meredith

Yeah, the last one is stretching it a bit, since he's more of a writer/director, but he did do voices for most of the Pixar movies.

The cast of Airplane! is shuffling off this mortal coil. So far we've lost Graves, Lloyd Bridges, and Robert Stack, at least among the well-known cast. Let's hope Leslie hangs in there for another decade or two.

Escape From New York is eventually going to round that corner. Isaac Hayes, Donald Pleasence, and Lee Van Cleef are already gone, and who knows how much time Ernest Borgnine and Harry Dean Stanton have got (again, hopefully lots. I don't actually want anyone to die, I swear!).

At my age, any film in the last 20 years is considered recent. MAVERICK will certainly be hard to beat on this score. Good work, Infidel.

The upcoming Hunger Games movie with Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Not a movie, but I'm morbidly fascinated with the one episode of The Larry Sander's Show (the one about the reporter), where Larry's guests were Gene Siskel, John Ritter, and Warren Zevon. Making this dead guy trifecta even odder is knowing Ritter and Zevon died within 4 days of each other in 2003 (Zevon Sept 7th, Ritter Sept 11th).
