Opinion on a review of Disney's A Christmas Carol

I'm new here but I just recently read a review on Disney's A Christmas Carol that I just had to fuss over, because it was just silly. The reviewer asked why Jim Carrey was picked for the role, afterall Scrooge is not really a funny man, well that's because Jim Carrey is a good actor and can do other roles, it's called finding work that is different enough so that you don't get typecasted, I thought that the movie was perfectly done.

Same could be said for Tom Hanks in the Polar Express.

I thought Jim Carrey did a very good job and I hate Jim Carrey. I wished the movie had done better. I think the film was mismarketed.
