Am I the only one that hasn't seen Avatar?

Not to knock on the movie, but the media makes it like EVERYONE has seen it... so has anyone else not seen the movie?

It's hard to argue box office numbers that make it seem like everyone has seen it.

I have yet to see it, but not for a lack of trying since it's been sold out like crazy on the weekends.

Nope,I have not seen it, I heard that it had not sold as many tickets as Titanic, its just the tickets cost more because of the 3D.

I work with about 13 people in our part of the building and I'm the only one who has seen it.

I haven't seen it.
I was looking to go to an IMAX show but that is so much trouble. I'll break down soon and see it in a regular theater.

I can't agree w/ that. I'm a film major. When asked in our 200 seating Film Theater room all you saw were hands up in the air. Of course....that's expected of us in the Film Dept.

Re: Am I the only one that hasn't seen Avatar?

I know a couple of people who haven't seen it, so I guess that answers your question. You're not the only one who hasn't seen Avatar. Um, is that all you wanted to know?

Still haven't seen it. And while I'm anxious to check it out at some point, I'm in no hurry.

Re: Am I the only one that hasn't seen Avatar?

I'm not much of a Cameron fan, so I'm not particularly inclined to watch it. I try to convince myself that it would be cool to watch from a technological achievement standpoint, but then I remind myself that I used that same reasoning with The Phantom Menace.

Just not horribly excited to see it though I'm sure I'll put it in my Netflix queue. Odd that a big scifi geek like myself just isn't that hyped about it.

I'm waiting until the price goes down, I'm not paying $13 per person in my family to see this movie (after $3 glasses surcharge).

It is so damn cool to act blasé about this film. Makes me feel like such an individual.

Re: Am I the only one that hasn't seen Avatar?

Honestly I don't understand all the hype for this movie. I personally thought it was one of the most overrated things I've seen in a long time. I like some James Cameron stuff (Aliens, Terminator, Terminator 2, Titanic is alright) but this just didn't do it for me.

I've seen it, but my boss and one of my co-worker haven't yet. They both want to see it.

My mother has not seen it. On the other hand, my mother has been in a coma since 1987.
