Shows On Fox I Wish Would Die

Glee because it's really not funny and it just capitalizes on the environment that American Idol setup and the whole environment is just plain annoying.

American Dad It was decent at first to have another Seth Macfarlane show but now that the Cleveland Show is here we don't really need three. In fact both of them should be canned because it makes family guy's quality drop drastically.

Bones and Fringe both bring nothing new to the table, as well as Lie To Me are all completely pointless and just show that America will watch what ever is on at the time.

DollHouse has a harsh and stupid premise that upsets even the most stupid sci-fi lovers.

CBS would be nonexistent if you had your way.

Interesting. You actually chose most of the good shows on Fox.

-1 Really not the strongest argument. Face it - you just don't like the show.

Blaming American Dad for the suckitude that Family Guy has become is wrong. Different shows with different writers. Family Guy has no one to blame but itself for how bad it has become.

All three are actually better fare than most of what is on prime time. Bones and Lie to Me are both solid procedurals. Fringe is admittedly a lesser X-Files but is unique in terms of anything else currently on television right now.

"It's stupid." Such a well constructed and phrased argument. It doesn't upset me at all. In any case this show has essentially been canceled so you got ONE of your wishes.

What really was the point of this thread?

With that list why not just cancel the channel instead of the shows?

I wish Fringe would die, too. never in my life have a seen a show that doesn't give a shit about its characters. All they care about is that stoic bitch Olivia.

I don't wish any shows death, but I don't watch anything on FOX besides football.

Re: Shows On Fox I Wish Would Die

American Dad is easily the best animated show on network television right now. Started off rough, got progressively better as it went.

Bones is enjoyable, not great but vastly superior to say CBS's lineup of repetitive, dull and corny procedurals. Lie to Me has improved a lot this season.

Fringe seems cool but I never really got into it (may play catch up on it). I'm not a fan of Glee, but at least its different.

Actually, FOX has perhaps the most varied lineup of any network out there, good for them. And despite how bad some of their shows have been, at least they can safely say they didn't keep According to Jim on the air for 8 years or air original episodes of the brutally unfunny Two and a Half Men.

I think both Fishy and Smiley work for Time Warner or at the very least, are the same person.

Yet, remarkably, you keep watching all these shows. Is this some sort of "Clockwork Orange" scenario? Do you need us to send a rescue squad?

Quick, call the cops! There must be someone with a gun to your head forcing you to watch all these shows! Because otherwise you could, you know, TURN THE CHANNEL.

Re: Shows On Fox I Wish Would Die

I love Glee, and I'm really enjoying Fringe (got Season 1 for Christmas, and I'm watching it for the first time).

I think American Dad, Family Guy, and Cleveland Show should all be canned, but if one had to stick around, I'd pick American Dad.

I can't comment about anything else listed, since I haven't watched them.

From reading that, I got out of it that he likes [The Interns] over [Med School].

He's just bitter.

Re: Shows On Fox I Wish Would Die

I wish the NFL would die. Highly overrated, flash in the pan, utterly pointless. I mean, there's a new champion every year, so nothing ever gets resolved. Each episode looks just like another. One-dimensional characters that you can barely tell apart on TV. Plus, a guy plays for one team, and a couple years later he's on another, and we're not supposed to notice? Serious plot holes and continuity errors everywhere! A team wins one week, and supposedly loses the next...WTF? We're supposed to believe that? Ridiculous.

Oh God, Give me a freaking break.

What is the point of this thread other than the OP offering his subjective opinion with really no substance to it especially using words like "stupid" and "pointless."

Here's a thought- change the channel?
