I've seen the trailer and some commercials for this, and it looks pretty bad. I mean, really, what's with the Matrix-like acrobatics? I can buy a lightweight like Keanu Reeves kicking butt, because The Matrix takes place in a fantasy world. I'm assuming, though, that the Charlie's Angels film takes place in the real world,so there is no way those 3 brainless babes can kick and jump around like what I've seen, unless they have superpowers,or something. Add to the mix, lame "funny" gags, and this flick is shaping up to be one of the worst of the year.
Also,I'm sooooo tired of movies based on crappy tv shows. Enough is enough! Can't those dopes in Hollywood come up with anything ORGINAL now and then?

From the looks of it they slowed down the kicking and jumping parts of the trailer to make it look like that. It looks good and I may go see that movie.

My ass is going to be in a seat for this one - Tom Green is in it and Lucy Liu is a babe. My answer is - yes - we really need a Charlie's Angels movie. If for nothing else than the sheer spectacle of it and to see what they actually came up with given all the rewrites and whatnot.

I've never seen the television show so I'm not a fan but Cameron Diaz, YOWZA!. I'll be in the theater wearing an extra large bib.

As long as ditzy chicks in skimpy outfits and bad dialog get butts in the seats, we will see more and more movies like these.

...Not that I'm complaning

what i think is silly is the concept of Charlie's Angels without guns. hell, the original silhouette had the girls brandishing their pistols & god knows they needed them.

now in out politically correct times, no pistol packing mamas for the big screen. makes the concept even sillier looking watching them judo-chopping everything in site b/c they can't use a gun...

Angel 1: Oh my god, they're shooting at us! What do we do?

Angel 2: Judo Chop! Ayayayayaaaa!! (kicks bad guy and dodges bullets.)

The movie looks great. Just because these chicks are hot. It doesn't mean they are stupid. Don't go see the movie if you think it looks lame. Stay home and watch your "English Patient" DVD.

The only reason I know of that anyone I know wants to go see this movie is just to see what the hell Bill Murray will do. Otherwise its pointless.

really I think Bill Murray is the only reason that i am not really sure about seeing this movie. He is hack and not as funny as he used to be. IMHO

I could not disagree more. A "hack"? How do you figure that? You know, he's not Jim Carey or Adam Sandler funny, but he's still one of the funniest guys around. That and he has some range. His performance in Rushmore and Hamlet were amazing, subtle and inspired performances.

But that's just my two cents. Personally I am going for the skin and Murray.

Personally I think the downfall of Murray has been upon us for a long time. The last movie that I thought was good was GroundHogs Day. That movie showed Bill Murray acting capablitities.

I must say that the The Man Who Knew To Little. C'mon that was a blockbuster hit.

I am not saying that Jim Carrey is great...which I don't think he is either. But what I am saying is check his credentials. (www.imdb.com)

Not much there besides cameos as himself since GroundHog's Day!!!

Hmmm.....I understand humor on many different levels. I just don't find his spark to be there anymore.

I am hoping that he will rectify a once legacy of humor on many different levels that many people have come to enjoy.

I have seen him around where he lives in Rockland County. Really nice guy. But, he hasn't done anything that is too worthy in a while to call it great...let alone good.

That is why I called him a hack.

That is my two cents. We will see maybe he will redeem himself in this movie.

You clearly haven't seen Rushmore. Go get it NOW.

Bill Murray always has been very hit and miss. When he is on, he is REALLY on and when he's not, he really isn't. It usually depends on whether or not HE thinks the role is funny. If he doesn't think its funny, he can't fake it and make it funny. The Man Who Knew to Little was a great example. You could tell he just wasn't into it.

So, I want to see CA to see if Murray will bring his A game or his I'm not really interested game. If he's on it will be good, if he's not it will blow chunks and the only reason to watch it will be for the chicks, which by the way aren't looking all that good anyway except for Lucy Liu. Diaz looks like an old stick, Barrymore is to short and is starting to look like she has been around the block to many times.

Who cares if they can act, as long as they can shake that T&A. Anyone else got some nice pics?
