Erm, the BBC had nothing to do with either Inspector Morse or Foyle's War. They're ITV series, made for commercial television.

Why is every British series assumed to be BBC? Unlike American shows, it's been common practice for over 40 years there to have the production company's name in big letters in the closing credits...
