Deadline Hollywood is predicting ...Meatballs to pull in $30 million this weekend with a huge jump today. Everything else is more-or-so DOA.

I'm glad Jennifer's Body is down at 5th. Anything to help drive Diablo Cody away from movies gets a from me.

I'm also pleased as punch by it's pathetic performance. By all accounts, Megan Fox seems like a genuinely unpleasant person, as well as a wooden on-screen presence. Hopefully we'll see less of her in the future, as well as Ms. Cody. The dialog in the trailer is simply awful, and I can only imagine the film itself is more of the same.

Also, glad to see (or not) H2 sink like a stone. It's final tally will be slightly higher than the remake's opening weekend. Ouch!

Megan Fox is only known for her hotness, and if she can't carry a film that was marketed entirely on her being hot, she has a serious problem. Back to Michael Bay I guess!

Wow. Am I the only one to have never heard of the #1 movie? As in, I don't know who is in it, don't know what it's about and haven't ever seen a single frame of the movie on TV ads or posters.

My thoughts exactly. When will Hollywood realize that just because lonely nerds on the Internet masturbate to your photos, it doesn't mean they are willing to take $10 of their WoW monthly fee to go see a movie you're in.

Horror movies have been doing bad at the box office lately. The Final Destination has done ok.

That's a bad sign when more than half of the top ten are crappy movies.
