DVD Talk review of 'Sin Nombre'

I read Phil Bacharach's DVD review of Sin Nombre at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=38651 and...

Three out of five stars!?? With all due respect Phil, but did we see the same movie? I thought the film was riveting and one of 2009's very best.

I think you're more likely to have a conversation if you say more... What did you disagree with in Phil's review? Is there something you saw in the movie that you think he may have overlooked or just not appreciated as much as you? A lot of your responses here seem to be frowning on the number of stars in the sidebar rather than the text of the review, and there's no real discussion to be had from that.

I actually DID like the movie, for what it's worth. I think - er, hope, anyway - the review reflects that.

Excellent film, promising debut from the director. As for the subtitles, Being burned in was not a huge problem for me, but yes the font was small.

As for the "unsubbed" deleted scenes, you manually should turn on the subtitle key. They are all fully subtitled.
