I've often read posts in these weekly threads were people say they've never seen any advertisements for a movie and think to myself, "Do these people live under a rock?"

Well I guess that makes them my neighbors because my first reaction to this thread was "What the hell is All About Steve?"

Sucks for Extract, I was hoping Judge would get thrown a bone or something.

Also surprised that TFD didn't drop further. 3D seems to also help the legs of these movies, I bet we see that trend (very unfortunately) really ramp up.

I am sooooo sick of everything in fucking 3D lately. What's next, Woody Allen?

I'd be ok with that as long as he cast Scarlett Johansson again.

This is true. But everyone will get to see her in 3D in the next "Iron Man" this May.

Nice hold for IB! I'd be very happy to see it gain on "Steve" and reclaim the crown. Also, happy to see the turd that is H2 sink like a stone, though I was hoping it would have more like a 70% drop.

I hate Sandra Bullock and I hate that she probably thinks her career has been ressurected due to the success of The Proposal. I HATE Sandra Bullock's voice, almost as much as Tea Leoni, good thing they never make films i'd ever want to see. Give it time and her films will start to underperform again.

Nice to see Inglorious Basterds hold over so nicely, the word of mouth is really helping this one.

Nikki Finke's DHD blog agrees with the second set of numbers.

I fucking hate Sandra Bullock. I really honestly hope that talentless one note piece of huma feces dies before she gets anther chance to make another piece of garbage.
The Proposal was the most torturous film experience I have seen in years and this somehow manages to even look worse!!!!!!!!!
6 fucking percent at Rotten Tomatoes and still No. 1. Are you kidding me!?

Whatever at least Basterds is still holdin up well.
My girlfriend and her aunt saw Final Destination last night (for free mind you) and said the theater was almost full but said neither of them liked it at all and was a waste. Her first text to me after it was over was "You were right".

It might be rated R, but no way it goes two hours. Not worth it.

Why in god's name would you see The Proposal if you hate Bullock?

And how could you be "right" about FD4 if you never saw it. You mean, she said your predetermined opinion about the film was accurate?

God....if there's anything wrong with the internet and it's stereotypes of crazy people rambling nonsense and having strong opinions of it. ..you're the living embodiment of that.

I had a grocery clerk put my bread in the bottom of my bag, and ring me up for 19 yellow peppers when I only bought one (true story!!) This scum must die and I want to eat his children. He deserves to live in hell and I will eat his kids while he watches, then skin him alive. How dare he have a job and displease me at the same time!!!!

(PS - just saw District 9, and while it is indeed a bit simplistic, its complex bits cover that quite nicely - Glad to see it's still in the top 10!)

(PPS - just trying to take some of the heat off of chris_sc77. I think he needs a cookie.)
