This is one of my favorite graphic novels of the past few years. A good blend of The Unit meets 24 meets Syriana. Peter Berg is writing the script.

I thought the comic book series got really week near the last quarter of it's run, but this has still been my most anticipated comic book adaptation of those coming out in the near future. Mostly b/c it has some awesome casting, which is largely what has ruined most comic book movies. Really looking foward to the great casting of Idris Elba as Roque, hoping this movie makes him the star he should be by now. Totally dig the casting of The Comedian (don't know the actors name), Zoe could be great if she plays Aisha cool.

I bet they are re-editing & possibly even re-shooting a lot of footage to give Zoe Saldana a bigger role & more screen time since she has blown up pretty big since she was cast in this movie. Her character is minor & fairly insignificant in the comic book.

Meh, that trailer looks like what I was afraid they would do with the movie. It's cool that the "finger-gun" scene is in it (straight from the comic), but the movie looks full of typical cliches of this type of film. Zoe looks super hot although her character seems drastically different from the comic. Looks like every decent scene is in the trailer also.

This looks like an awesome Zoe Saldana film! Bring on more action movies for her! She needs her own Underworld/Equilibrium/Aeon Flux type film now.

With Warner Bros. Pictures moving Clash of the Titans back a week to April 2nd so that the film can be released in 3D, the studio has now decided to move Sylvain White's comic book adaptation The Losers away from its previous April 9th date as well. The film will now be released on June 4th.
The move is interesting for several reasons. It now leaves Fox's comedy Date Night as the only wide release on April 9. Also, moving The Losers to June 4th puts the movie in theaters just one week before Fox's The A-Team, the movie to which The Losers has been compared to the most.
The other wide releases scheduled for June 4 right now are Get Him to the Greek, Killers and Marmaduke.
