Jeez, it was looking like an easy round (either matchups that I don't care about or easy choices), and then I saw
Elvis
VS
Queen
I'm going to have to think about that one. That's tough. I've been an Elvis fan since I was a little kid, and he was the King of Rock and Roll, but Queen was a truly great band - one of the very best. I'm not sure which one I'm going to pick.

Wow, a lot of the artists who just snuck into the tourney are really dominating in it. Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, and Jim Hendrix all were only on two top 10 lists, but each of them will be in the final 32 by the looks. And one of them is gonna make the final 16 for sure as Marley and Gaye are matched up in the next round. The Beatles may be unbeatable, but a lot of the other individual matchups are wide open in this tourney.
Edit: Fleetwood Mac is another two tally artist that is still alive.

1: Pink Floyd
2: Hendrix (not much of a jazz fan)
3: Costello
4: Abstain, not a fan of either
5: Pearl Jam
6: Elvis
7: The Eagles (but really close, by far the toughest call for me)
8: Sinatra (no disrespect to Sabbath, but Frank was THE man. There's so little respect in the music world for pop, but he was the greatest male pop vocalist ever)
