It wasn't his fault Phantom Menace sucked but I guess unlike Lucas, Jake Lloyd has had to spend the last 10 years in the real world dealing with it.

This was just sad. He's puffy, sarcastic, bitter, and he kind of comes off like a retarded person.

To me he came off like someone who has to deal with getting shit from puffy, sarcstic, bitter, retarded fans for the last ten years who blame him for ruining their lives.

I always felt sorry for the kid. He was terrible in the film and the person that deserved 100% of the blame was the person that cast and directed him (and wrote the cringe worthy dialogue).

If anything, he can be the new Wil Wheaton.

I'd even say that he wasn't a terrible child actor----if he had been given decent dialogue and direction he could have pulled off the role.

Wow, that is depressing. He was a kid. He was told to act that way. That wasn't his fault. If he had a better director and writer, he would of been great.

Hayden Christensen was good in "Life as a House" Now he did the Star Wars movies, he can't act anymore.

George Lucas must have the force to suck the acting ability out of someone when they are making a movie.

Jake Lloyd was in Jingle All the Way.

It took Natalie Portman a couple of years to learn how to act again after her disastrous performances under his "direction".

actually in-between the "movies" she did "Garden State" (one of my favorite movies of all time), "Closer" (which was excellent), "Cold Mountain" (i believe), and of course "V For Vendetta" (released same year as "Sith"),but since "V" she has actually petered out a bit. hopefully "Thor" will get her out of her rut.

He may be bitter about school but unless you hear from someone else you'll never know. He could have been a big "dick" after TPM and so other kids....

He should only be bitter because he can't act, period. I doubt his acting "career" would have gone anywhere even without TPM.

I recommend you watch Shattered Glass, where Hayden gave an awesome performance as Stephen Glass, a writer for the New Republic who invented the news stories and got caught.

He comes off like a complete douche, and I want to punch him in the face after watching that video. I couldn't imagine dealing with him and his crappy/douchey attitude on a daily basis.
