Music transfer between Mac and PC on itunes...

Hey,

I got a friend a ipod with music from my itunes. When she plugs it into her computer it asks to delete all the music I put on there in order to put her music on. Is there a way for her to keep the music I put on there and download her music?

Aloha,
Tara

The short answer is - not without some other software. iTunes expects an iPod to be synced with only one computer at a time, so you'll either need all of the music to be in one copy of iTunes, or you'll need to use some third-party software to manually manage the song files.

[And you'll probably get more info over in the Tech Talk forum for iPod/MP3 player-type questions.]
