What is your favorite foreign film, if you have one? This is one of my favorite films ever, foreign or otherwise:

This is one of those films you can watch over and over, and catch something new each time. It's like a massive jigsaw puzzle. Have you read this book? That said, I don't really consider it a foreign film, since it's in English, any more than I would label 2001 a foreign film.

I was quite excited to hear about the recently discovered footage, hopefully we'll get a theatrical (and Blu-ray?) reissue in the next couple of years.
