Not saying the trailer looks bad. But how could you even compare it to "Let the Right One In"? It certainly doesn't even come close. It's just such an odd thing to say.

I was very less-than-impressed with what I saw (maybe the first half of the film). I might have gotten better but I just could not get into it. I'd maybe go back and watch it after a few reviews tell me too stick with it. But if the 2nd half was like the first (slow... washed out... characters you didn't care for...) I'll pass.

FYI, the title is Deadgirl as a single word. There is a totally different movie called The Dead Girl.

The OP got all excited over that trailer? That's a pretty weak trailer, IMO. Tells me almost nothing about the movie, and certainly doesn't conjure up a comparison with LTROI to me. Then again, any trailer opening with an angst-ridden emo kid is probably gonna lose me.
