I've seen both Bad Boys films (and own #2) and thought both were decent, over-the-top faire, despite the sequel being too long for its own good, and found Transformers moderately entertaining.

I haven't seen Transformers 2 and the more I read about it, the more I doubt I'll see it.

So the question I ask, is of the two big Bay franchises, which would you rather see a third film from if you had to?

With a gun to my head... Transformers. Though only if Bay isn't involved.

Without having seen BB2 or TF2... I'd still have to say TF.

Bad Boys 3. Transformers doesn't interest me all that much.

Bad Boys is pure awesomeness. Bad Boys 2 isn't, but it was nice seeing those guys again.

I love me some Bad Boys. Both are superb action films. Im not even a fan of WIll Smith or Martin Lawrence but they are good in the BB movies.
I didnt like the first Transformers and Transformers 2 looks even worse.

If Bay is involved: Bad Boys III. Hands down.

If Bay and Kruger are not invited to return: Transformers 3.

Bad Boys II is the most indulgent, over-the-top piece of action cinema ever put on film, and it is amazing. If Michael Bay could successfully top that, I think my head would explode, but I'd love to see him try.

Bad Boys II was garbage and Transformers is too far gone and already in need of a reboot. BBIII wins by default.

Bad Boys was great. Bad Boys II is pure shit. Transformers was fun but uneven. I haven't seen Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen but all the reviews point it being Bad Boys II level of crap.

Wow! I just broke a 16-16 tie in favor of Transformers 3! Of course, this isn't based on the second one (which I haven't seen so far because I've been down with a Crohn's flare), or even the first (which surprised me), but because I'm a geek and obligated to go see a movie that features the Transformers. Plus, they could break out the Dinobots and I'd love to see them. Of course, if Grimlock appeared in Bad Boys III, that might just clinch the whole thing.

Transformers by far. I could never stand the Bad Boys series, especially the godawful 2nd installment. Granted the Transformers movies aren't high art or anything either, but at least I had fun with them.

Dinobots and Unicron are the top two things I would like them to bring into the 3rd one. Also maybe another combiner, such as Superion.

I agree with this. You should have had multiple option in the poll - both with Bay and both without Bay.

I believe you need bay for Bad Boys 3 (story better be better and shorter than 2!), but I'd really like to see a TF3 with new writers and a new director.

Exactly. If we're talking about which Michael Bay film I'd want to see, it's easily Bad Boys III. I thought despite being 20 minutes too long, Bad Boys II is easily one of Michael Bay's best movies and certainly the most entertaining one.

I like Transformers but Revenge of the Fallen has really put me off the franchise and unless there is a huge creative shakeup, I'm not itching for a third.
