Friday the 13th: Killer Cut (2009)
There are 2 reviews of Friday the 13th: Killer Cut on DVDtalk, and both give the Blu-ray & DVD a Recommended. This is about the product itself, not the film reviews.
Wanna Bet?
There is a Director's Commentary & Cast Commentary & lenghty "Making of.." Documentary that are not yet available on Blu-ray or DVD.
Why would you recommend people buy these sell-thru copies? Why not Recommend a rental, until the version with the extras is available?
Is there a bigger and better release down the line? Doubtful, but I'll cross my fingers.

1) How do you know this?
2) Some people may not have liked the movie enough to care about those features. I don't think anyone isn't assuming a double dip will occur once the sequel drops next fall, but this is an adequate release for those looking to own it now.

A lot of people don't care about extras and just want the movies, and are not willing to wait for a new version that may never materialize.

That's me. I'm not saying that I don't like special features, because I do, but it depends what they are too. Anyway i'm more interested in getting the full movie first, anything else I can take it or leave it.
