Didn't Conquest/Planet of the Apes take place in the early 90's?

I've never seen Planet of the Apes, it's something I'm still not close to on my list but I highly doubt apes could change the world that quickly. Isn't the film partly based in the '60s?

What about the Time Machine. Isn't it about the year 85,000 during the Morlock's time.

You're off by an order of magnitude -- it's set in 802,701. In the book, the traveler goes even further into the future to see the end of the world.
