I think when this tournament is finished, the bracket should be incorporated into the Netflix new account information. Anyway, I only cast three ballots, all for nostalgic purposes: Cates, Warner and Montgomery. I have a clear memory of watching Revenge of the Nerds at my dad's and being entirely convinced that was not a scene my mom would have approved of me seeing. It always struck me as odd that my dad just didn't care, and I took the liberty of leaving the room myself. Somehow, when you're a kid, being allowed to see such things takes away (some of) the fun.

I remember years later, renting Doc Hollywood on VHS. By that point, I didn't go to my dad's very often--we never really got along--and on Saturdays while mom worked at the shop she'd opened with my grandma, I got to stay home and for quite a while in the early 90s I rented a lot of movies. I'll never forget the thrill of seeing her come out of that pond, and how exhilarating it was that I was home alone.
