9 (2009 - Thai "Karmic" Horror)
2009 doesn't have nearly enough movies with Nine/9 in the title, so here's another.

Could be interesting, could suck. I'm hit and miss with Thai horror (and Thai flicks in general).

The film is based on karmic principles and follows a trio of people who must travel to nine temples to purge the bad karma from their previous lives. Cue bumping, crashing, general creepiness and the revelation that the trio’s karma is deeply connected. And, of course, there are spiritual forces out to get them. It’s a fairly basic ghost story premise with the exotic twist of the karma angle thrown in but the trailer is very compelling. Done well there’s no reason these stories can’t still pack a wallop and this looks to be done very well indeed. Check it out below the break.

Sounds interesting. Have you seen 13 Game of Death? It was more funny than scary but worth watching.

I haven't, will have to check it out. Everytime I see it at a store I think it's a remake of 13 Tzameti.
