You could have unprotected sex with someone WITH full blown AIDS and still not catch it, especially if you are a male, and the person with AIDS that you are doinking is female.

Just passing on what I have been told, and this may be more information than most people would want to hear, but here it goes. One of my good friends from college has a masters degree in microbiology. He told me that within his studies, it was taught that if a male has sex with a female who has HIV, he has about a 1 in 250 chance of contracting it if they have unprotected sex. It seems to make sense based on the anatomy of a male compared to the anatomy of a female. Females are much more likely to contract STD's from males who are infected, than males contracting one from a female who is infected. The reason HIV spread fast in the early 80's and was thought of as a "Gay virus" is because during anal sex, skin can tear which can cause bleeding and is a direct pathway for the hiv to enter the bloodstream. Regardless of the odds being in your favor if you are a sexually active male active who does not partake in anal sex, I would still think it is worth it to bundle up. And to relate this back to forrest, he had a 1 in 250 shot of getting HIV, IF Jenny had HIV at the time that forrest was the man............
