I need a date movie DVD in the next couple of hours
Got a date tonight. Going over to her house to watch a movie. Problem is not sure which movie. She netflixed Benjamin Button and the Reader, but I thought those might be too draining after a long week of work. Looking for something a little more light/fun. Last weekend, we saw Wolverine, so she is okay with that type of movie. Suggested Paul Blart to gauge her taste and she shot it down so that was a good sign. Problem is I've seen most of the newer movies out on DVD
Any suggestions?

Taken - fun, quick action flick...or an older title Lars and the Real Girl if she likes quirky films...

LOL! You people here don't disappoint. I couldn't wait to open this thread to read the responses.
Back on track....I agree with Artman about "Lars and the Real Girl" and sauce07 with "Last Chance Harvey".

Looking for something light.. Taken would be good, but I jsut saw it. Marley & Me would work, but we both have dogs and even discussed how depressing that movie must be.

I always show a girl I've been seeing after a few weeks, The Evil Dead.
If they can make it through the tree rape scene, they are a keeper!

I hear chicks like Twilight. As a bonus, if you're a David Fincher fan it apparently has the dude from Panic Room in it.

'Irreversible'
The sex scene from that film gets chicks HOT.
Look over her with your best 'eyes' and say 'I'd like a little of that action tonight'.

I'd say To Have and Have Not (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0037382/) fits the bill pretty perfectly, though it's not quite a new release.

This is a serious answer, but may not be for everyone: True Romance. I watched this with my ex on one of the first dates we had (her idea, BTW.)

say anything or princess bride...most girls have never seen them. if you want something more modern maybe nick and norah's infinite playlist? also, pretty much any woody allen movie will do.
