it is totally legit you dont get banned from live or anything like that. just follow these directions to burn to a dvd or cd:

Extract the files normally and use ImgBurn or Nero to create a "data dvd".
Simply burn the folder called "content" on to a blank dvd and place it in your Xbox 360 once completed.
The demo should now appear in the Games Library of your Dashboard.

NOTE:
It's very important to place the "content" folder in the root directory of the disc.

I'm sure it is legit though, all of the 360 game demo discs you can burn and they play fine without having to worry about anything.
