I read Stuart Galbraith IV's Blu-ray review of Streisand (aka Streisand: Live in Concert 2006) and was surprised that no mention was made that the identical concert was released a few months earlier on just DVD but with the exact cover photograph of Streisand and a similar title, but with THREE TIMES the material. The DVD has this same concert from Ft. Lauderdale FL, as well as THE CONCERT LIVE AT THE ARROWHEAD POND, plus the long-awaited release of PUTTING IT TOGETHER, a special behind the scenes making of Streisand's THE BROADWAY ALBUM. There really isn't much difference in price, and after reluctantly putting off buying the concert package in hopes of a Blu-ray version, when I saw the similar title and the identical cover photo, I bought it, only to find barely a third of the material. Are they going to wait another few months and THEN release a COMPLETE version? This is very frustrating and I can't understand why the studio would do this (what were they thinking???), and feel that buyers should be made aware of this.
