I have to disagree with you here. Initially, the series kinda chugged along rather slowly for me but having watched the entire series twice now, i have come to really enjoy it. Henry Crabbe is one of the better police detectives around imho. Like all shows, it took a moment for Pie to find it's identity but, once it did, I thought is was marvelous.
