DVD Talk review of 'RiffTrax: Reefer Madness'
I read Jason Bailey's DVD review of RiffTrax: Reefer Madness at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=37132 and...
Excellent review Jason. The CT crew have definitely had the edge in the DVD market once The Film Crew folded so I think it's very important that the word gets put out there to support this effort. I too bought all the solo Mike Legend discs but I'm not put off by the double dip. I bought the new Rifftrax versions in three purchase blocks and received $5.00 discounts on two of those- in other words, buy 4 discs and get five bucks off. A couple of minor observations- the video on NOTLD is off-speed and really jarring. I'm not sure if this is an authoring issue or a bad print source but...well, it is what it is. Also, it seems that the movie audio (dialogue, foley etc.) is on the same level as the riff commentary. This ultimately sounds OK once you get used to it, but Msties are used to the riffs being louder than the crummy movie. Bitching over- get 'em all.
