Fear Factory returns!

Wow - did not see this coming. Burton and Dino, along with Byron Stroud and.....Gene Hoglan?!?!?

I guess Raymond and Christian are just going to stick with Arkaea which I thought was just a side project. Apparently there will still be a second Divine Heresy record too this year. Lots of good music coming!

I like old Fear Factory but wasn't a fan of their later stuff. Hoglan's drumming should fit them well, though. He's like a machine.

I actually enjoyed everything up to Obsolete.

Digimortal was awful

Haven't heard their last two albums though.

The last album was a mess so I can't really recommend it but Archetype is up there with Demanufacture and Obsolete.

I like Digimortal. At least the first half is good. I love Archetype. Transgression is where they lost me.

I like Hoglan, but I really liked Herrera's performance on the drums. I've never cared for Dino, and his interviews makes him sound like he's full of himself. Christian, I'm rather ambivalent about. Stroud is a badass, so I'm glad to see him here.

Archetype was a pretty solid album.
