By "single" do you just mean a single songs we are diggin', not an albums? Or do you mean only songs that are played on the radio?

For instance, I'm diggin' the shit out of "Airstream Driver" by Gomez, one of my favorite songs of the year, but I have no clue if it is an actual "single".

I rarely listen to the radio, but the most recent song I heard that I love is "Hard Times" by The Parlor Mob...great band.

I'm not sure it means what it used to in this age of digital downloads, but bands (or labels) still "release" individual songs as "singles," and Billboard and OCC and ARIA and all the rest still chart them.

For what it's worth, Airstream Driver is the first single off A New Tide.

Why thank you! "Help, I'm Alive" is getting the most airplay on the alternative stations. But I have the new album and let me tell you, there are 6 really smokin' tracks on there.

Sweet, didn't know that was a single. I honestly have no clue what bands I like release what singles, don't even know how to find out, & I buy a shitload of music.
