PHILADELPHIA - April 11, 2009 - (WPVI) -- Randy Cain was one of the first musicians to put the "Philadelphia" sound on the map.
Cain died Thursday. He was 63.
He helped form The Delfonics in the 1960s, while attending Overbrook High School. While in school there, he bumped into William and Wilbert Hart. They were the other two-thirds of the soulful sounding, sleek looking group.
