do you really need to start a new kiss thread everyday?

I ran across something rare that most people (including KISS fans) wouldn't find on their own and I thought I'd share it.

That doesn't happen every day. And the last KISS thread I started was a week or two ago with the new album thread. (The Hall of Sham thread isn't really a KISS thread, although KISS does feature prominently - it's also about Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Roxy Music, Genesis, Rush, etc, and how corrupt and unethical the HOF voters/nominating committee members are.)

And, hey - that first YouTube clip IS pretty darned cool on the first post. It's pretty rare/hard to find because most people wouldn't be looking for it.

Have you listened to Gods of Thunder: A Norwegian Tribute To Kiss? Hands down, my favorite Kiss tribute album. The covers are not only solid and fun, but well produced and arranged.



The "Magic Kiss Medley" is particularly imaginative, mashing Deuce and Cold Gin really well (among others).

Ok, that album cool album alone is enough to make me wanna listen.

The album cover was indeed painted by Ken Kelly, the original painter from LOVE GUN and DESTROYER. And Bruce Kulick appeared on the "I Was Made For Loving You" track as well.


And um... listening to the all-female Kissettes sing "I Just Wanna" makes me squirmy and sweaty. Golly!

I own all of these !

Not a patch on the original, but still, I am sure Cher probably exposed a large audience to this song who probably don't even know it's a KISS original.
