Im looking to get every Charlie Chan movie, 44 i think. What sets are the best? Is a complete set coming?

Well, all 44 aren't available, so that won't be a problem. Get the 5 Fox sets. That should fill out the ones that they have the rights to.

If you are a Chan fan, all the sets would be enjoyable probably. But I find Vol. 2 to be especially fun with Warner Oland at his best and some of my favorites, Charlie Chan at the Circus/Olympics/Opera.

I haven't heard of a complete set. But I wouldn't bet on it anytime soon or maybe ever. 44 movies is a lot to collect.

There will never be a "complete" set as several early Chans are lost. That's why they have "recreations" as extras on several of the Fox sets, with stills from the film. There's also a pretty good Monogram compilation boxed set called Chanthology.
