DVD Talk review of 'Origin - Spirits of the Past'
I read Todd Douglass Jr.'s DVD review of Origin - Spirits of the Past at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=32684 and...
I strongly disagree with much of it.
I thought the story was very well developed, character personality well defined, and I really liked how it told pieces of the story over time. The music especially was simply amazing.
To me, it really stands apart from most other animated films in the Visuals, the Music, and the Story. I can easily see why it won Academy awards.
I first watched Origins as a rental but it's one of those few movies that I would watch again and again. It's so good that most people I know who don't typically like Anime fully enjoyed this movie.
