If you like Pushing Daisies or Wonderfalls, you'll probably like Dead Like Me as well. All three are by Bryan Fuller. It's a drama, but very quirky and funny with a lot of dry, black humor. I would definitely recommend it, but it's probably not for everyone.

I think 50.00 is actually a lot. I love the series. The new movie is garbage though. I would put it on the radar and just hold out for a better sale for a blind buy. I do agree that if you like Pushing daisies and/or wonderfalls, you would most likely dig DLM.

Huh!? What movie?? Anyway, yeah, $50.00 seems a little steep. But it is a great show. One I miss.

There's a direct to DVD movie that is being released Tuesday (if memory serves.)

I reviewed the first two seasons years ago and thought it was a great show. I'm looking forward to the movie, which I will review as soon as my copy arrives.

I watched the first season and a half and loved it. Heard it didn't end as well as it could have, so perhaps the movie closes up all the loose ends or something. Looking forward to getting the movie and finishing off the set at some point.

I'd recommend it as a blind buy.

Mostly the same cast. Laura Harris wasn't able to return to play Daisy because she was committed to Women's Murder Club at the time the movie was made. The part was recast with Sarah Wynter (who played Harris' sister on the second season of "24".)

Unfortunately, Wynter isn't very good in the part. She's all wrong for the role.

And the part of Rube was written out because Mandy Patinkin has burned all his bridges in Hollywood and will never be working as an actor again.

The movie isn't great, but I didn't think it was terrible. It was nice to spend time in the company of these characters again, and the movie brings a satisfying bit of closure to the George & Reggie storyline. It was a better ending for the show than the last episode was.
