This can't be worse than Sin City.

He's said before that he likes making kids movies. They're made in his shop, at a fast pace and a cheap price. He said that they're made, begning to end, in like six months. They're mostly his and make money.

I'd bet that a lot of Troublemaker's profits from this will end up in some supercool pre-production (Sin City II, another Grindhouse, or something new).

In addition, I think that he makes these movies with his kid brother or something (maybe his son?). Whether or not it's 'mature' enough for some, I think it's really cool that these movies are being produced in collaboration with kids.

And, while it's a stretch for ME to enjoy Lava Girl, my neice watches it a lot. The only one that I really enjoyed (and still do) is the first Spy Kids.

The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl was awesome. Robert Rodriguez can keep making kids films as far as I am concerned. They can be every bit as good as his more mature work.

Amazing that the OP already knows that this will be shitty. Has the run time already been announced?

It's also not rated R, so that's two strikes against it.

Oh yes -- the quality of the movie is directly relational to the amount of blood and tits contained within. The OP would fit right in over at Video Game Talk.
